- Dear Dr. Rashti
- As a child I had horrible experiences in hospitals, and as a result, have been terrified of many things connected with doctors ever since. I was at the point of not seeing anyone in the medical profession at all until circumstances forced me to seek help which led to surgery three years ago. This did nothing to relieve my fears, however; so, when I learned that I had to seek help from a periodontist my terror knew no bounds. It was, therefore, one of the most wonderful experiences I have had to walk in to Dr. Rashti 's office, and be received warmly and with understanding. From the moment I began filling out the questionaire, I knew I was in good hands. I gave answers to questions no one had ever asked before. Dr. Rashti is an angel. She took more time than I have ever spent with any dentist to explain just what would happen to me. She also showed an understanding and sensitivity I have never experienced before. She knew that I was totally blind, and spent time before our first meeting to try and figure out the best way to help me, and make me feel at ease. She needn't have worried. The warmth and understanding she showed from the beginning made me know right away that I would trust her. Her entire staff is just as warm. If anyone had told me that I would love going to the dentist, I would have said they were crazy, but I look forward to each visit, because I feel that Dr. Rashti is not just giving me the best dental care I could ask for--which she is--but she makes me feel that I have gained a friend as well.

- I am a patient that has for over fifty years received “inadequate or poor dental care.” I received inadequate dental care as a child because my parents either did not understand the value of good consistent dental care or they could not afford it. As an adult responsible for my own dental care, I took it very seriously and made it a priority. I faithfully scheduled and received my 6-month dental check ups and cleanings. However, I continued to loose teeth despite my personal commitment. Unfortunately, I was receiving poor dental care my former dentists, as they had not appropriately diagnosed my dental problems. It could have been that they simply did not have the expertise to properly deal with my problems. I was a serious grinder and didn't know it. Besides loosing most of my molars, my bite collapsed and began causing me significant pain whenever I opened my mouth.It was only when I began seeing Dr. Mahnaz Rashti that I received the care that my teeth and my joints required. Dr. Rashti is an extremely skillful dentist, specializing in implants, with the unusual talent of being able to explain in laymen terms your dental care requirements and how she plans to proceed with your care. Most importantly, Dr. Rashti encourages you to ask questions and participate in the decision making process of your care plan. She is interested in your overall health and how it will be impacted by your dental health. She is not willing to make quick fixes that ultimately fail and create greater problems for you in the long run.The care I have received allows me to recommend, without reservation, the services of Dr. Mahnaz Rashti and her staff to anyone interested in receiving superior dental care. It's a wonderful feeling when you smile and people comment on how beautiful your teeth are.

- I am writing you this letter beacuase I want you to know now much I appreciate your dental expertise and treatment. I came to you beacuse I had a problem in one area of my gums. Needless to say, I was very apprehensive when I came to see you. I had never been to a periodontist before. You knew waht to do immediately and had a medical diagnosis for my problem. In my case though, it was not so simple and would not heal right away. But you were abale to alleviate the problem. Through all the procedures and surgeries, your sense of humor and kind and gentle demeanor got me through it. I asl appreciate the follow-up calls to me after surgery. I would definitely recommend you to all my friends and relatives should the need arize! You are the best, Kindest regards.
